1. The Role of an IARP Reviewer
IARP reviewers serve as independent scholarly assessors who provide impartial, rigorous, and constructive evaluations of manuscripts submitted to IARP journals.
Reviewers are expected to:
- Uphold the principles of academic integrity and publication ethics.
- Evaluate manuscripts objectively and independently.
- Provide substantive, constructive, and professionally articulated recommendations.
- Complete reviews within the agreed timeframe.
- Preserve strict confidentiality throughout the review process.
- Declare any actual, potential, or perceived conflict of interest.
Through their critical insight and scholarly judgment, reviewers contribute directly to the credibility and quality of published research.

Reviewers who successfully complete at least five reviews for IARP journals are eligible for a 25% waiver on publication fees, subject to the applicable IARP publication-fee policy.

3. Responsibilities of Reviewers
IARP reviewers are expected to undertake their responsibilities with intellectual independence, professional discretion, and academic integrity.
Assess manuscripts critically and fairly, considering their originality, clarity, methodology, analysis, significance, and scholarly contribution.
Complete assigned evaluations within the stipulated timeframe or promptly notify the editorial office if additional time is required.
Treat manuscripts, reviewer reports, editorial correspondence, and all information obtained during the review process as strictly confidential.
Bring potential concerns regarding plagiarism, duplicate publication, conflicts of interest, fabricated or manipulated information, or other forms of research misconduct to the attention of the editor.
Provide precise, respectful, and actionable recommendations that may assist authors in strengthening the academic quality of their manuscripts.
4. Qualifications
Applicants are generally expected to demonstrate:
- ➤ A doctoral degree or equivalent professional qualification in a relevant discipline.
- ➤ A record of scholarly publication in peer-reviewed journals or demonstrable equivalent research expertise.
- ➤ Recognized subject-matter expertise in one or more fields represented within IARP journals.
- ➤ Familiarity with contemporary research methodologies and scholarly standards.
- ➤ A demonstrated commitment to academic integrity, impartiality, confidentiality, and ethical publishing.
- ➤ Strong professional communication skills and the ability to provide well-reasoned evaluations within agreed deadlines.

6. Voluntary Service and Recognition
