1. Author Responsibilities and Scope

IARP welcomes original, high-quality scholarly contributions across all academic and scientific disciplines. Authors must ensure that submissions align with the aims and scope of the selected journal and represent novel, unpublished research that contributes meaningfully to the scholarly record.

Authors are expected to respond promptly to editorial correspondence and to uphold professional standards throughout the review and publication process.

2. Manuscript Preparation

IARP maintains a flexible submission policy to facilitate scholarly communication. Manuscripts may be submitted in any readable academic format. Strict formatting or citation styles are not required at the submission stage. Once accepted, manuscripts are professionally formatted by the editorial office according to journal standards.

Authors are encouraged—but not required—to use recognized academic styles (e.g., APA, Chicago) to enhance clarity and peer-review efficiency.

Authors may choose to follow IARP’s Manuscript Submission Guidelines.

3. Submission Process

A. Submission Method

Manuscripts should be submitted via the official IARP online submission portal. Alternatively, submissions may be sent to: Executive Editor: editor@iarpnet.org

Each submission must include:

• A title page containing author names, affiliations, funding, and contact details
• An anonymous manuscript file including the abstract and keywords

To preserve blind review, the manuscript must not contain any author-identifying information. Incomplete submissions will not be processed.

B. Submission Period

IARP accepts submissions year-round.

C. Conflict of Interest

All authors must disclose potential conflicts and confirm their individual contributions.

D. Editorial Screening

Submissions that fail to meet ethical, academic, or policy standards may be declined without external review.

4. Authorship Criteria

Authorship requires a substantial intellectual contribution in at least one of the following areas:

• Research conception or design
• Data collection, analysis, or interpretation
• Drafting or critically revising the manuscript

The corresponding author is responsible for communication with the editorial office and ensuring co-author approval.

Authorship changes after submission require written consent from all authors and are not permitted after acceptance except under exceptional circumstances.

5. Publication Fee and Waivers

The Institute of Academic Research and Publication (IARP) operates under a Gold Open Access publishing model, ensuring that all published articles are freely and permanently accessible to readers worldwide without subscription or paywall restrictions.

i. Publication Fee Structure

To support high-quality open access publishing, IARP applies a two-tier Article Processing Charge (APC) system:

• USD 200 per accepted manuscript for authors affiliated with high- and middle-income countries
• USD 150 per accepted manuscript for:
  • Authors from low-income countries
  • PhD scholars
  • Unemployed or unaffiliated researchers

The APC is assessed only after a manuscript has successfully completed peer review and received formal acceptance for publication. No submission or review fees are charged at any stage.

ii. Eligibility and Waiver Conditions

The reduced APC of USD 200 for PhD scholars and unemployed researchers applies only when the manuscript includes no more than two (2) authors, including the eligible author. Manuscripts with three or more authors are subject to the standard APC of USD 300, irrespective of academic status or employment category.

For geographic eligibility, low-income countries are defined as those with a Gross National Income (GNI) per capita below USD 3,000, in accordance with IARP’s internal classification framework.

iii. Extended Payment Period

Authors who require additional time to complete APC payment may submit a formal request for a deadline extension. Extensions may be granted at the discretion of the editorial office; however, no payment period may exceed four (4) weeks from the date of the acceptance notification. Failure to complete payment within this period may result in deferral of publication.

6. Peer Review

The Institute of Academic Research and Publication (IARP) is committed to maintaining the highest standards of academic integrity, transparency, and scholarly rigor. All manuscripts submitted to IARP journals undergo a formal peer review process to ensure methodological soundness, originality, and relevance to the journal’s scope.

A. Peer Review Models

• 1. Double-Blind Peer Review: Both the authors’ and reviewers’ identities are concealed to promote impartial and unbiased evaluation.
• 2. Single-Reviewer Blind Review: In certain highly specialized or niche fields, a single qualified expert reviewer may be assigned. In these cases, reviewer and author identities remain confidential to preserve objectivity.

In all models, reviewer anonymity is strictly maintained during the review process.

B. Reviewer Selection and Evaluation Criteria

Each manuscript is evaluated by a minimum of two independent reviewers under the double-blind model, or one independent expert reviewer under the single-reviewer model. Reviewers assess manuscripts based on originality, methodological rigor, clarity, relevance, accuracy of data interpretation, and proper citation.

C. Author-Suggested Reviewers (Optional)

Authors may recommend potential reviewers during submission with relevant expertise and no conflicts of interest. The editorial board retains full discretion over reviewer selection.

D. Transparency and Reviewer Acknowledgement

With reviewer consent, reviewer contributions may be acknowledged in the reviewer report or the published article’s webpage.

E. Review Timeline and Editorial Decisions

The standard peer review timeline is 2–5 weeks. Possible editorial decisions include: Accept, Minor Revisions, Major Revisions, Reject.

F. Post-Acceptance and Publication

Upon acceptance, the corresponding author is notified and provided with the final acceptance letter, invoice for the publication fee, and anticipated publication date.

7. Publication and DOI

All published articles are distributed under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY 4.0). Authors retain full copyright while granting IARP the right to publish and archive the work.

• Publication Schedule: Continuous publication model within seven (7) days of fee confirmation and final proof approval.
• DOI Assignment & Crossmark: Unique DOI assigned to each manuscript via Crossref membership alongside the Crossmark update verification icon.
• Galley Proof: Provided within three (3) working days following payment confirmation.
• Official Documents: Acceptance letter, fee receipt, and official Publication Certificate issued within three (3) working days.
• Indexing & Archiving: Indexed across Google Scholar, Crossref, Base, LOCKSS, ORCID, ResearchGate, and Academia.edu.

8. Withdrawal and Retraction

Withdrawals are strictly regulated to protect editorial resources:

All requests must be submitted in writing with full co-author consent.

9. Ethics and Integrity

IARP adheres strictly to international ethical guidelines set by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE). Plagiarism, data fabrication, ghost authorship, and redundant submissions are strictly prohibited. All submissions undergo automated similarity screening prior to publication.

10. Copyright, Licensing, and Permissions

All published materials are made available under CC BY 4.0. Authors retain copyright ownership and can share their work freely with proper attribution. Third parties may reuse and create derivative works for both non-commercial and commercial purposes with mandatory citation.
